Dogs for Adoption

Toonie

Toonie is 7.5 months old, and is in foster with us with her half-sister Tottie. They have been much loved and well cared for, and only came into our care through change in their family’s circumstances.

Although they get on, we feel that they would both do better split up, as they feed off each other’s insecurities and Toonie also somewhat dominates Tottie.

Toonie is a sweet, cuddly girl but is also timid. She is very small, weighing about 3 kg.

She is nervous of, but submissive with, other dogs, but could live with a more confident small dog who would help nurture them.

She needs a calm home where someone is around all day and will spoil her, and help build her confidence and not overwhelm her with lots of new things at once. She’s too fragile and timid to live with children under 12.

She and her half-sister are in foster with a cat, which Toonie barks at occasionally but only because she is nervous and not sure what it is.
Currently in foster in Swindon
