Sheppi is between 5 and 8 years old and is a fairly large collie. Being a collie he needs to know what is expected of him in the home and doesn’t like a lot of change or faffing about. While with Gina he has been no trouble. He is been very affectionate, loves his walks, sleeps downstairs and has been introduced to her dogs with only a few minor disagreements, which for a dog that had had no other dog contact for years is fantastic.
Sheppi is dog reactive when on lead, but off lead gets on well with most dogs and absolutely loves his country walks and has started to play with other dogs.
He needs a calm, sensible, dog experienced adult only home where he will get daily walks in the countryside. He came to us very overweight so any new home needs to continue his diet.
