WE NEED HELP AND WE NEED IT FAST

We have nothing but praise for the young couple who have been fostering Juno. They are not hugely experienced but they have been hugely patient and kind and they have brought her on so well and so far, but they said a while ago that we really needed to find her an adopter or a new foster.

We thought we had a new foster but she has let us down at the last minute and current carers have made forward plans and so they really cannot keep her for more than a couple of weeks.

The other thing that hasn’t gone to plan is her spay and a hernia that was going to be repaired at same time as she was spayed and that was supposed to happen last week but she is having a false pregnancy and is lactating so it couldn’t go ahead.

Juno came from the pound after having been found abandoned in a field and it was noted at the time that she had recently had pups so she went through a confused and distressing time which left its mark.

Her current carers have done everything to support her and, from initially not wanting to be left alone at al,l she can now be left for 3-4 hours at a time.

Juno does still have some guarding issues that need to be worked with…there may be a link to the false pregnancies but we can’t be certain. But outside of that she is a very loving girl who loves snuggling up.

She loves other dogs outside the home but needs to live as an only dog in an adult only home.
She’s currently in Swindon and we would like to keep her in a 30-40 mile radius.
