Dogs for Adoption

Ruby came to us a few weeks ago as she was getting very stressed in a very busy home and her owner was finding it impossible to give her the time she needed or walk her with 3 very young children. It was a very difficult decision for her to make.
She has really calmed down in foster but sadly needs to move very soon. This is absolutely no fault of Ruby’s but her carers don’t feel they have the time to walk her or devote time to her.
Ruby is nervous of new people, especially men as she was previously in a household where there was domestic abuse. Once she knows you she is a very, very affectionate girl but understandably a little insecure. She is intelligent and playful.
Ruby is 3 years old and mostly Labrador with a little bit of Mastiff. She is Labrador size.
She needs a nice calm, adult only home with a secure garden where someone is home all day snd who is prepared to give her the time and commitment to let her settle and introduce her to long country walks.
This lovely girl has so much potential and would make the right people a fantastic new member of the family.
